I have been a Registered Dietitian since graduating from Purdue University in 2015. I’m currently employed as an outpatient dietitian in Indiana, where I work with patients one-on-one to help them set personalized goals to improve their health. I started my own private nutrition coaching business in January of 2020!
When I’m not working, spending time in nature walking, gardening, exploring, and backpacking with my husband bring me great joy. My husband, Dustin, is a Registered Nurse and is honestly pretty amazing. You’ll see him contributing to the blog with his photography skills, testing out products, or giving opinions on recipes. We have two cats, Noah and Tigga, and a Goldendoodle named Wyatt. The boys rule our lives and provide hours of entertainment. Yes, we’re those annoying people that can’t stop taking pictures of our pets.
I love food and believe it should be a source of nourshment and enjoyment for your life as well. Food should make you feel happy, never guilty or stressed. My personal food philosophy is a non-diet approach to health, and my blog is all about showing you how to enjoy food in a healthy way. When I work with clients one-on-one I help them set behavior-based goals to improve their health beyond hitting a certain target on the scale. I’m here to share nutrition advice that’s based on current and upcoming research, in order to help you make the best decisions for your health and happiness!
